Damage risks?

Fortunately, little damage is done by our tenants. However, if you have bad luck and the boat is damaged, we will take care of it together.

If the extent of the damage is clear, we will settle it immediately. If the damage is extensive, we will deduct the amount of the excess. Tip: often you can claim the damage with your third-party insurance.

Bad weather?

Unfortunately, the weather is not always good for sailing. You can always change your booking to another day/period if available, until 16.00 hours of the day prior to the start of the rental period.

At wind force 5 or more we have the right to cancel your reservation.

Need a sailing licence?

No, none of our boats require a licence. For the sloops, you do not even need a boating experience. However, it is a good idea to read our tips on how to safely sail a sloop in Friesland beforehand.

If you do not have enough experience, you can hire a skipper. Call us for the possibilities.

Can you bring the boat to my holiday home?

If you are staying at a holiday park or in a holiday home in Heeg, we can bring the boat to you and pick it up again.
